Project Engineer

Responsibilities:

The Project Engineer is in charge of project implementations required by the clients within the quality, timeline and budget.

  • Assist in Prepare and implementation of Project Execution Plan (PEP).
  • Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring of assigned projects.
  • Attends the Weekly Progress Meetings (Internal as well as with Client) and preparation of Minutes of Meetings.
  • Monitors work in progress and prepare daily or weekly reports of the status of each project.
  • Interacting with clients, interpreting their needs and requirements, and representing them to manager.
  • To performance maintenance and hands on job
  • Coordinates materials delivery and receipt at project site.
  • Coordinates with all projects related personnel on day-to-day progress of work activities and operations to ensure timely completion of the project.
  • Provide full support as required by senior engineer and manager for all projects.
  • Prepare scheduled and necessary updates of on-site activities.
  • Inform all supervisors and subcontractors promptly of any construction schedule and work closely with all stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.
  • Maintain budget, schedule, and report regularly to senior engineer to keep him constantly informed of job progress, plans and problems that could significantly affect costs or schedules.
  • Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities and resolving problems.
  • Manage compliance, quality control and quality assurance standards and specifications.
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules and regulations.
  • Maintains company reputation by complying with companies, customers, and government’s regulations.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing common goal as needed.
  • To perform any other duties as assigned by management when required.

Requirements:

The candidate should possess a Degree from a recognized institution, preferably with qualification in Construction Management/ Mechanical Engineering / Electric and Electronic

  • Preferably with 1-2 years working experience in service field.
  • Preferably Electric and Electronic background.
  • Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia
  • Strong communication skills, independent, Committed
  • Adaptable & willing to travel extensively
  • Good in writing of technical report will be advantage
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Willing to learn & meticulous
  • Willing to traveling
